Nam-joo (Bae Doona) gang- du's sister and his acholic brother Nam-il (Park Hae-il) live with him as well. One day well delivering food Gang-Du sees a crowd around the river. He stops to see what's going on. Everyone is staring at a creature hanging from Wonhyo Bridge. Someone throws a beer can towards it and it drops in the water. It then goes ashore, and starts to attack people. Gang-du notices his daughter in the creatures path. He runs to her and they begin running, Hyun-seo trips, and her father lets go of her hand. She ends up getting eaten by the creature. Knowing (rightly so) that she must still be alive, the three siblings set out on a rescue mission, to save Hyun-seo and kill the creature.

Personal Opinion
Host is one of the very best korean films I've had the pleasure seeing. Each Character is fully developed, there is enough serious, and comedy to balance them out. It's not over bearing and it sticks to its plot line. For Acting I'll give it 9 out of 10, for story 10 out of 10. I give the film 5 stars out of 5.
